What are the advantages to using CyberLegs? There are two principal benefits of using CyberLegs: Comfort and Productivity. The ergonomically correct positioning of one’s computer results in less wrist, shoulder, back, and neck stress and a reduced likelihood of musculoskeletal injury, like carpal tunnel syndrome. A consistent and correct computer placement will also result in an increase in keyboard proficiency and the production of more work in less time.
Does it fit my computer? CyberLegs fits all known models and vintages of laptop computers.
Is it stable? CyberLegs is designed for stability. The tripod maintains stability even on irregular or uneven surfaces.
Will it tip over easily? Three years of extensive field testing has proven CyberLegs will withstand pretty hard bumps and brushes and remain standing. CyberLegs is engineered to be stable. You can use it with confidence when you follow the instructions and use normal care and common sense.
How much does it weigh? The total weight of CyberLegs, including case, literature, attachment kit, and wipe is 20.3 ounces.
Will it fit in an airplane's overhead compartment? CyberLegs and its carrying case are sized to match the length of standard executive style computer cases: 16.5 inches. It easily fits length ways into the overhead compartment.

How much room does it take up when in use? Fully extended, CyberLegs has a triangular footprint of eighteen (18) inches. The front leg extends back between the users legs, so CyberLegs literally fits anywhere the user’s feet fit... including, very comfortably between airplane seats.
How does the CyberLegs case attach to my computer case? The snap hooks on the CyberLegs carrying case are positioned to hook into the existing shoulder strap D-rings of most computer cases.
Isn't it a pain having an additional bag hanging off the side of my computer case? Extensive field testing has shown that CyberLegs is a very compatible traveling companion.
What type of material is CyberLegs made of? The leg extensions are high strength anodized aluminum. The plastic parts are a variety of high-tech materials each specifically engineered to provide the best service and performance for its function.
What material is the case made of? The case is high quality polyester which matches most of the black fabric computer cases.

How long does it take to assemble? Assembly consists of sticking four hook and loop dots to the arm pads and the bottom of the computer. Since the surface these dots attach to must be clean, the answer to this question is based on how much peanut butter and jelly is on the bottom of your computer. Seriously, a few minutes spent cleaning the attachment areas with the alcohol wipe we provide will insure the hook and loop dots stay attached and provide satisfactory performance. It should only take a few minutes to be up and running start to finish.
Do I need any tools to assemble and use CyberLegs? Unless you have good fingernails, a pair of tweezers might be helpful for removing the paper backing from the adhesive surface of the hook and loop and no skid components of the attachment kit. Also, a knife or letter opener might help open the box. That's it. Honest.
| What if I'm not happy with it? If you decide you do not want CyberLegs for any reason within thirty days of the date of your purchase, call our toll free customer service number for return instructions. | Is there a warranty? Yes. All parts, materials and workmanship are covered with a replacement guarantee for life. Hook and loop attachment components are replaced at cost plus shipping. CyberLegs has been designed and engineered to provide years of dependable performance. If there are any problems a call to our toll free customer service number will give you the necessary instructions for return of the damaged unit and a replacement will be on its way. |
After I order how long will it take to receive it? Speed of delivery is your choice, it’s a price issue and a quality of information issue. If your order arrives by noon Eastern time, you can pay for expedited service and have your CyberLegs delivered to most continental U.S. addresses the following weekday. All orders go out within 24 hours of credit card authorization. If the information given in your order matches the credit card company's records, your CyberLegs will ship within 24 hours of receiving your order. If you do not chose an upgrade shipping service your order will ship within 24 hours for delivery in three days.
Do the legs extend high enough for a standing user? They do not. The intended use for CyberLegs is as a desk or presentation stand. Our design is engineered to provide these functions in the smallest, lightest, sturdiest, and most stable way possible.
Is the computer angle adjustable? The tilt angle built into the CyberLegs head is engineered for the correct ergonomic positioning of your computer’s keyboard. You should notice a lessening of stress through your wrists, arms, shoulders, neck, and back as compared to the common desk top, table top, or airplane seat-back tray placements. If, however, the user prefers a different angle, the front leg can be retracted some to increase the angle of tilt, or the back legs can be retracted some to decrease the angle of tilt. A WORD OF CAUTION: changing the angle more than a little bit using this method will cause CyberLegs to become unstable and could result in damage to the users computer.
Is there a place to mount external devices? If so how do they mount? Some of our field testers used the included hook and loop strip to attach their power converter to the front leg of their CyberLegs. External devices such as floppy drives, hard drives, zip drives, CD drives, etc. can be attached the same way. These devices can also sit on the center support arms.

Is there enough room in the case for other small items? The CyberLegs carrying case is designed with a loose fit for ease of loading and removing the unit. While there is plenty of extra room, the user should use their judgment about how objects placed in the case might damage their CyberLegs. Also any increase in weight will make the attachment of the CyberLegs case to the Computer case more noticeable.
Where can I get more hook & loop attachment material? Adhesive backed hook & loop materials are readily available at your local hardware, home improvement, variety or grocery store at a low cost, or call customer service. We will be glad to provide the material at cost plus shipping.
